Marc

Marc Dijkhuizen

Marc Dijkhuizen, 28 years old and born in the Netherlands. Started playing tennis at the age of 8 when my dad bought me a racket during his holidays in Italy. Immediately fell in love with the game and started to perform quite fast very well on national level. I have reached an international ranking of 900 ATP in singles and 400 ATP in doubles. I played in multiple international doubles finals and won a few titles, most of them with my doubles partner and friend Bart Stevens (quarter-finalist, 2023 doubles at Wimbledon). I moved to Bahrain in 2020 and till today extremely happy with that decision. Extremely excited to keep sharing my passion and love for tennis with all of the students we have at MG tennis academy.

George

My name is Georgios Dioulgkaridis, I am 30 years old, and I was born in Thessaloniki, Greece. Tennis was always in the family because my father was a professional player in the Soviet Union, so he introduced me to tennis at the age of 5. I played in competitions until I was 17 years old, then stopped to study Physical Education for 4 years while working alongside my father as a coach.

From 2020 to 2022, I started working for the Rafa Nadal Academy. I provided custom training for beginners and advanced players, developing personalized training programs and methods based on Rafa Nadal’s technical and physical preparation under the guidance of Joel Figueras (instructor at the Rafa Nadal Academy), Carlos Moya (former ATP No. 1 and current coach of Rafa Nadal), and Toni Nadal. I also created and coordinated fun activities for junior players.

After my time at the Nadal academy I started to work at the Mouratoglou Academy, providing performance coaching for continued technique improvement in individuals under the guidance of Johan Van Herck (former ATP No. 60).

Beginning of 2024 I have started MG academy in Bahrain together with Marc and I am super happy and excited to be here in the Kingdom of Bahrain to improve the tennis level within the country.
